Amanda Wood 

Amanda Wood, from private consulting firm AMW Business Growth can advise across most industries and business topics, and specialises in helping businesses to discover and leverage strategic opportunities, whilst also assisting with very ‘practical’ business advice.

Amanda brings to this program, real-life experience as: a CEO (manufacturing sector); director and manager; participant on many business related boards; grants panellist; and leader of state and national business advisory teams. This self-confessed “business nerd” was instrumental in the establishment of a “Business Enterprise Centre” in the South, in the early 2000’s. More recently she worked for several years leading teams of advisers working with larger businesses ($2m to $100m) to grow, improve, or access grants/support. She also recently completed a contract in Southern Adelaide, working one to one with several hundred businesses of all shapes, sizes and industries (on behalf of State Govt and Councils). Amanda has served on a range of business related boards, committees or initiatives, including several significant business grant panels, which have awarded grants ranging from $20,000 up to several million $.

With a strong armoury of professional and business resources and connections to bring to the table, Amanda will help you identify possible strategies or pathways to growth, change or improvement in your business. After the session she can also refer you to specialist advisors for additional low-cost sessions within this generously subsidised program, as applicable to your needs.
