This practical, hands on, course will provide more advanced knowledge and skills necessary to use Apple School Manager. This course covers setting up ASM, importing accounts, federating with AD Azure, provisional enrolment of iOS Devices in ASM with Apple Configurator 2 and much more. Apple School Manager is only available to education so this course is not suitable for those in the enterprise sector.

Prerequisites

  • Attendance on Apple School Manager Part 1
  • Your education institution has, or intends applying for, an Apple School Manager account
  • Your education institution has or intends using a Mobile Device Management service (MDM) like Jamf School (ZuluDesk), Jamf Pro, Airwatch One, Microsoft inTune or other MDM.
  • You will need a device with a screen size of at least 11” with Zoom Meetings installed, or the ability to install Zoom Meetings. A computer is best.
  • You will need a computer with a supported browser: Safari 9 or later on macOS, Google Chrome 35.0 or later, Microsoft Edge on Windows, Safari in iOS 12 or later or iPadOS 13.1 on iPad.
  • A telephone to receive SMS during the course
