In this fun, hands on workshop you will explore the basic principles of photography by constructing your own simple Pinhole camera.
About this Event
In this fun, hands on workshop you will explore the basic principles of photography by constructing your own simple Pinhole camera from cardboard and gaffer tape and then making photographs with the simple pinhole camera you made. A pinhole camera has the essentials of what is required to make a photograph - a light tight container, a small opening and some light sensitive material. You will learn how to load the camera with light sensitive paper, how to select a subject and expose the paper. Once you have made an image you will process the image with simple chemicals, working in a real darkroom.
No previous photography skills are required.
Children should brings snacks, lunch and a drink bottle.
