About this Event

What is the HCMS Program?

The HCMS Program is an organisation-wide transformation program that will change how we work across UQ and is a result of reviews (2014 - 2017) that determined the need to invest to support our current and future workforce. It is a significant investment in our people, processes and systems.

What is Workday?

Workday, a leading Human Resources (HR) system, is a significant step forward in enabling UQ to be more agile and mobile in the way we deliver Human Resources to our people.

UQ will join many other international and national universities that have implemented Workday including, Flinders University, Monash University, Sydney University, Ohio State University, Yale University and many more.

What’s in it for you?

One system, Workday, will replace the current multiple disparate systems enabling a greater experience for you when actioning HR activities. Smart built-in features such as within your day-to-day business through smart in-built features such as automated reminders, tasks and workflows will simplify and standardise manual labour-intensive processes. It will even change the way you view your payslips and apply for leave!
