About this Event

Are you part of a school or early learning service in Victoria that has published a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and are looking to extend on their reconciliation actions?

This session will help guide you through the basic process of starting a Reconciliation Action Plan using the Narragunnawali platform, and explore the RAP actions required in a Victorian context. This is also an opportunity to network with other educators in your area to support each other through the process.

Reconciliation Victoria has partnered with Reconciliation Australia to support schools and early learning services in Victoria to take action toward reconciliation in the classroom, around the school and with the community. We will guide you through the process of extending a RAP and including further Actions.

Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education program supports all schools and early learning services in Australia to foster a high level of knowledge and pride in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions.

The Narragunnawali online platform is free to access and provides practical ways to introduce meaningful reconciliation initiatives in the classroom, around the school and with the community. Through the Narragunnawali platform, schools and early learning services can develop a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and teachers and educators can access professional learning and curriculum resources to support the implementation of reconciliation initiatives.
