About this Event
BLAK:STORY:SONG is a gathering of five world class First Nations performers. Deline Briscoe, Lydia Fairhall, Andrea Kirwin, Georgia Corowa and Airileke Ingram will be performing over the 2 hour show, which will include music, stories and also traditional drumming. Each artist will share some of their original songs and cultural stories. Join us to mark 26 Jan by connecting to First Nations artists from wherever you are in the world.
The concert is livestreamed in HD by a professional film crew headed by Ben Knibb and sound engineer Alex Rottier. By purchasing a ticket you are supporting independent Australian artists. Peace Run Records is a livestream boutique venue holding special concerts and creating content for Artists. We pay our respects to the Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi Traditional Custodians of the land that we live on in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia.

DELINE BRISCOE
Yalanji Woman of Song, Deline Briscoe is an internationally acclaimed vocalist and
artist who has been fine tuning her songwriting and performance skills for 2
decades, since 2009 Deline has toured worldwide and launched her stunning solo

GEORGIA COROWA
Georgia Corowa is a South Sea Islander and Bundjalung singer, songwriter and performer based on Minjerribah and is known for sharing her gift of soulful melodies. Her gospel-crossed-folk style of music allows her voice to reliably tell stories from both the past and present. She has recently released an EP as a part of a duo called 'Black Salt'. ANDREA KIRWIN
Andrea is an Australian - Fijian Singer/songwriter/producer based in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. She writes, records, produces and performs her originals with her unique soulful style Andrea is an incredibly skilled musician and a talented vocalist and songwriter. She founded her own record label and runs Peace Run Records, a livestream venue in Nambour hosting boutique events such as this one.
