Impacts of Isolation | UTS Big Thinking | Sydney Festival

After a year to forget, it’s time to take stock of how the pandemic has changed our lives. What have we gained and what have we lost during these long and unsettling days of isolation and disruption?

This discussion will be led by Sydney Festival’s own Festival Director Wesley Enoch.

Social distancing, working from home and remote learning are just some of the ways our lives have been changed in fundamental ways during the spread of Covid-19. But it’s also important to not lose sight of the hidden costs, especially the mental health and social challenges that have emerged along the way.

Now, as the pandemic moves into a new phase and the possibility of a vaccine comes into sight, we can assess the long-term impact of these changes and whether our lives will be forever altered from this extended period of lockdown.
