Launceston: Welcome to Autism

This 4 hour parents and carers workshop explains autistic characteristics, misinformation, diagnosis reports and supports available.

All of our workshops are designed to be interactive for our participants including our online sessions.

Come and learn about masking, the double empathy problem and sensory profiles whilst embracing autistic identity and culture.

This workshop helps you to:

- Develop your understanding of what it means to be autistic and how to best support your child

- Be empowered to advocate for your child

- Embrace autistic identity and culture

Cost: $15 (inc GST) 50 cent online booking fee applies

Refund policy: You must contact us at learning@autismtas.org.au to notify of your cancellation prior to the commencement of the workshop. This allows us to reallocate your ticket to those waitlisted. Cancelled tickets will transfer to the next available event. Faliure to cancel will result in no refund or transfer of ticket.

If Autism Tasmania needs to cancel the event, we will contact you via your registered contact details.

We will let you know of alternative modes of delivery (online participation), and, if requested, transfer your registration to the next available event or provide a full refund.
