Sally Carter is presenting a series of ukulele workshops on Saturday 15 June. Many aspects of ukulele playing will be presented in a fun, friendly and positive learning environment. For Soprano/Concert/Tenor ukuleles. NOT baritones or bass.
Topics covered are - how to start learning how to read a music score, how to use a plectrum and then learn how to play a bluegrass tune, how to play tremolo, a fun session playing an arrangement of 'Hound Dog'.
A basic understanding of TAB reading is required. A good working knowledge of standard ukulele chord shapes is required.
Participants bring their own ukulele, pencil, music stand and plectrum.
All sheet music resources provided.
