Subhag Swami got the good fortune of getting personal training from Srila Prabhupada to have a deeper understanding of Krishna Consciousness philosophy and Vedic culture. Srila Prabhupada gave His Holiness the specific service of translating his own books from English to Bengali. Prabhupada also instructed him to preach Krishna Consciousness all over the world.

After being awarded the renounced order of life, His Holiness Subhag Swami Maharaj has traveled all around the world. His preaching activities take him to the far corners of the globe. Maharaj has translated many books of Srila Prabhupada from English to Bengali such as Krsna - The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Teachings of Lord Caitanya, Teachings of Lord Kapila, Teachings of Queen Kunti, Sri Upadeshamrit, Sri Isopanishad, Matchless gift and Easy Journey to Other Planets.

A little bit about the speaker:

His Holiness Subhag Swami Maharaj was born on 21st December 1940, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. In 1970, he met His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. He was formally initiated by Srila Prabhupada in 1971.
