Come to Hobart Library to take part in our free online presentations with face‑to‑face support.

Each month we explore different topics in live sessions that are easy to follow and free from jargon. Library staff will be there in person to help you as you watch and learn.

From news and weather to health warnings and essential government services, there is so much useful information available on Australian government websites. The best part is, it’s free to access! We’ll show you how using government websites can benefit you, including a step - by -step guide to setting up your own MyGov account so you can manage your online government services easily and conveniently.

Come in-person to our 1-hour presentation to discover:

• which government websites might benefit you
• how to set up a MyGov account
• how to link other government services to your MyGov account
• how to keep your personal details safe and secure.

To help make a successful event:

• Don't come if you're unwell

• Let us know if you can't come - we'll cancel your booking so others can register instead.

• Tell us if you need assistance or if you'll be accompanied by a support person

• There is one accessible parking space in the library carpark with a 1-hour limit

• The library has a wheelchair accessible elevator

• An accessible toilet is available

• Parking is available in the Melville Street carpark.
