Workforce Connections Program presents

North West Workforce Action Group - School Pathways Program

The North West Workforce Action Group brings together education and care services and sector partners to collaborate on local workforce challenges and opportunities. The group provides a forum to connect, share insights, and work together to identify practical, place‑based actions that strengthen workforce pathways, capability, and retention in the North West region.

Through open discussion and shared problem‑solving, the group supports participants to unpack emerging workforce issues, explore effective strategies, and co‑design programs that respond to regional needs. The North West Workforce Action Group is focused on building strong relationships across the sector and supporting coordinated, locally informed workforce solutions.

As part of this session, we will invite Damian Peirce to work with the group to co‑design a school‑based pathways program, drawing on sector experience to shape practical, locally relevant pathways between schools and education and care services.
