Its back and better then ever......

In this our fifth year hosting, this year’s Long Table Lunch 5-Course Degustation at Hamlet Downs Country Accom sees us circling back to one of our most talked about dining experiences thus far… our 'Are You Game' series celebrating beautiful Tasmanian wild meats and seasonal produce.

Back in 2024 we explored Wallaby, Rabbit, Venison and Duck and 'wowed the crowd' even those who were, and I quote 'not too sure about Game' and heres what they had to say after the event:

.....We ate every morsel on our plates. We never imagined what could be delivered to the table using Wallaby, Rabbit and the Venison options.. I hope many more people will be able to enjoy future long table lunches, l can promise that they won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be attending when the new series starts next year, once this current series finishes: Jen and Lee (Ellendale)

This year Chef Trish is taking the menu in a fresh new direction with Quail, Goat, a special seafood item and a few other delectable surprises, still being carefully crafted in the kitchen...

..and of course a balanced but contrasting pairing being matched with some of Tasmania's finest 'Adult Sippys' if you so wish to imbibe. Non alcoholic beverages are included complmentary and also include farmgrown produce like our Black Cherry Shirley Temple and our Elderflower and Bitters Cordial.

And yes she is already very excited about dessert — Her own version of Aphrodite’s Pudding featuring Hamlet Downs quince, rosewater, pistachios and figs. Rustic, fragrant and just a little bit indulgent.

A true paddock-to-plate experience shared around the long table, celebrating Tasmania’s seasons, provenance and storytelling through food.

With only 3 events being held in June July and August as part of our Off Season events these tickets will sell out.
