Join Tasmanian landscape and astrophotographer Luke Tscharke for an accessible introduction to photographing the night sky at McHenry Distillery.
The session will cover camera setup, composition, focusing in the dark, and practical shooting under the stars, with the twilight period used for a short indoor briefing before heading outside.
After a break for hot chocolates, the evening will conclude with an Astronomy presentation by Bill McHenry.
Participants to bring a camera with manual settings, a sturdy tripod, warm clothing, and a head torch. Age limit 16+.
Follow the signage for Mount Arthur, Stat Observatory to the Pavilion.
Limited accommodation is available onsite or visit Tasman Unlocked.
