OFF SEASON SHENANIGANS – Winter Festival in the Tasmanian Highlands
When winter settles over the Central Highlands in a hush of mist, Rathmore’s heritage Wool Shed becomes Tasmania’s most inviting escape — firelight flickering, glasses clinking, and music drifting through centuries-old rafters.
Join us for the Rathmore Lamb Lunch, a spirited midwinter gathering 11am–3pm
Your experience begins with generous country canapés and live music with a Highland twist, setting the tone for an afternoon that’s equal parts indulgent and unforgettable.
At the heart of the feast: Rathmore’s own lamb — raised on the property and slow-cooked over glowing coals — served alongside seasonal fare and paired with elegant Invercarron wines (or thoughtful non-alcoholic options).
End on a high note with a decadent dessert, before stepping inside the historic c.1828 convict-built Rathmore House for an intimate guided tour and tea by the fire.
