We are excited to welcome Margaret Hickey to Hobart to discuss her latest crime novel, Cold River. A missing hiker in Victoria's alpine country. A body that wont be found. And a town that knows more than it says. When young journalist Louis Taylor disappears on a remote mountain trail, the search begins as a familiar tradegy. But when local police officer Sally White returns to her post in Edenvill, the details start to snag: a backpack placed too neatly, a phone found where it should not be, and an old missing persons case that sits a little too close to this one. What begins as a search for a missing man becomes a hunt for the truth in a landscape built for hiding it.
