Contra dancing is moderately aerobic and highly addictive. It’s a lively, social, swingy dance style from the USA. Done to simple walking steps, it features flowing movements, swings and twirls, and a chance to dance with everyone in the room.
Balfolk (French) folk dancing is lively and fun. Be inspired by wonderful music and joyful dances which David learned at Le Grand Bal de L'Europe at Gennetines in France, an amazing 14 day dance festival. Dances range from the the hypnotic Rondeau en couples to the athletic Le Danse de l’Ours (Bear Dance) and the sometimes chaotic Zelda.
