Appleby’s 5 course Degustation Paired with Hellyers Road Whisky

Join us at Appleby’s Mediterraneo Bar & Grill for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating Tasmania’s exceptional food, produce and whisky.

On Sunday, 30 August, indulge in a carefully curated five-course degustation menu by Chef Wayne Appleby, with every course expertly paired with premium selections from Hellyers Road Distillery’s Distillers’ Choice range.

Guests are invited to arrive from 11:30 am, allowing time to settle in and enjoy the setting before the degustation begins promptly at 12:00 pm. The afternoon experience will conclude at approximately 3:00 pm.

Guided by Fiona Coutts, this special tasting will explore the distinctive character and depth of Tasmanian single malt whisky, with expertly matched pours designed to complement and elevate every dish.

Each course showcases exceptional local ingredients sourced from North West Tasmanian growers and makers—bringing together bold flavours, refined craftsmanship and the best of Tasmania’s food and spirits.

As a small business, cancellations have a significant impact on staffing, seating allocations, event planning and stock ordering. For this reason, all ticket purchases are final and no refunds will be provided.

If a ticket holder is unable to attend, the ticket may be transferred to another person. Appleby’s Mediterraneo Bar & Grill must be notified by email at least 48 hours before the event so the new guest name can be recorded for seating and service arrangements. By purchasing a ticket, guests consent to Appleby’s Mediterraneo Bar & Grill and Hellyers Road Distillery capturing and using images or recordings taken during the event for marketing, advertising, website content and social media.

If a guest does not wish to be photographed or recorded, they must notify staff at the beginning of the event.
