Furious Fiction Writing Group at Kingston Library

Come along to this informal, fun writing session, featuring the Australian Writers’ Centre monthly challenge. Find out the prompts, brainstorm ideas and start your 500 word or less short story project. Please note this is a social writing group (not tuition). All levels welcome.

• We will learn together the new Australian Writers' Centre monthly challenge and quickly overview the terms and conditions
• Brainstorm ideas for those would would like to share
• 45 minutes of writing time
• Sharing or continue your writing.

Please note, you most likely won't complete your work in the time frame, but hopefully you will be motivated to complete it and submit within the 55 hour timeframe.

Bring:

Your enthusiasm, and usual writing materials.

Parking:

• Maximum 2 hour stay in the library car park

• Parking in Channel Court shopping complex is maximum 3 hours.

To ensure a successful event, please:

• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else

• Don't attend if you are unwell

• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.

Accessibility:

• 2 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limits

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs

• Accessible toilet with a change table for children

• Parenting room in Channel Court shopping centre next to the library.
