Reserve Bank of Australia Lunch

Mark Chambers is the Reserve Bank of Australia’s Senior Representative based in Melbourne. In this role he leads the analysis of current economic conditions in Victoria and Tasmania, including regular engagement with businesses, government and other stakeholders, as an input into the RBA’s regular monetary policy decision making.

This event with the Launceston Chamber of Commerce is part of this engagement program, and provides an opportunity for the RBA to hear firsthand from business representatives about economic conditions in the Launceston and surrounding region. Mark will also provide an overview of the RBA’s most recent assessment of national economic conditions.
