Volunteering Tasmania and Tech Yeah Pop Up at Huonville Library

Join Volunteering Tasmania and Tech Yeah (Hobart City Mission) at Huonville Library for a free drop-in pop-up session. Whether you're interested in volunteering, looking for meaningful community connections, or need support navigating the online world, we're here to help.

Our friendly team can assist you to:

• Explore volunteer roles that match your interests and skills
• Discover local volunteering opportunities and community connections
• Complete and lodge online volunteer applications
• Navigate Working with Vulnerable People Registration and National Police Check processes
• Build your confidence using technology and online services
• Get help with everyday digital tasks

No bookings are required. Simply drop in, have a chat, and find out how Volunteering Tasmania and Tech Yeah can support you to connect, contribute, and thrive in your community.

Everyone is welcome.

Parking:

• Maximum 2 hour stay at the library car park

• All day parking in Council carpark, short walk from the library

To ensure a successful event, please:

• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else

• Don't attend if you are unwell

• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.

Accessibility:

• 1 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limit

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs

• Accessible toilet with a change table for children.
