Travel across billions of years as Sally and Jack bring together two extraordinary areas of science, from the formation of stars and planets to the ancient life that shaped the world we know today.

The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A, giving children, families and curious adults the chance to ask their biggest questions about space, dinosaurs, Earth, the past and the universe around us.

This special event is the final event of GreenSTEM Ignite 2026 and a celebration of what has become the biggest National Science Week Burnie has ever seen.

Across Ignite 2026, GreenSTEM Education has worked to bring outstanding scientists, educators and hands-on STEM experiences to North West Tasmania — creating opportunities our community would often need to travel much further afield to access.

This finale is designed for the whole community. You don't need any science knowledge, and there is no upper or lower age limit on curiosity!
