Book Week Storytime and costume parade at Smithton Library

Come dressed as your favourite book character, enjoy some stories and join us as we parade through the library together. It’s a chance to celebrate the joy of books, reading and a little bit of dressing-up fun and if we’re lucky, there might even be a conga line!

Bring the whole family along and get ready for some Book Week fun.

By registering for a Libraries Tasmania event, you agree to follow our policies – including the Responsible Conduct Policy and Safeguarding Children Policy. Thank you for helping keep our spaces safe and respectful for everyone.

Parking is available at the rear of the library.

Smithton Library has an accessible entrance ramp at the front with automatic doors. For any specific accessibility requirements or questions, feel free to contact us at 6478 9574.

To help us deliver a successful program please, register all participants on Eventbrite.

We will provide sanitiser for you. Please do not visit the library if you’re unwell.
