Reflecting this years International Overdose Awareness Day theme, '25 YEARS ON. Still needed.', the event will feature a speech by Emily Ebdon, President of the Tasmanian Users Health and Support League (TUHSL). We will also honour the legacy of Kerrie, former Vice President of TUHSL, whose vision an dedication were instrumental in establishing our memorial rose garden.
An educational harm reduction session will provide practical information and strategies to help prevent overdose and support community wellbeing.
Together, we will remember those we have lost, learn from one another, and strengthen our collective response to overdose.
A free breakfast will be provided that will include vegetarian options and hot drinks.
It will be held at the memorial rose garden at the Anglicare Tasmania Glenorchy Office - 436 Main Road, Glenorchy.
