Why become an artist?
Join acclaimed painter Leoni Duff as she tells the story of the artistic life she didn't plan, and what drives her to paint.
Years after training as a pianist at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music, Leoni was inspired to pick up a paintbrush for the first time.
Life had thrown her a curveball so she started teaching herself to paint in the shed, with a classic art textbook from the library.
Her career took off, and Leoni has since been recognised with numerous art prizes and even had a painting hung in the Pentagon. She runs a studio and gallery in Launceston where she teaches and inspires other artists.
Limited seats – bookings essential.
